An expert in the creation of patient capital products, the Chantier Trust developed the following products with and for its investment partners.

 

Better spaces to better serve

Implemented in 2021 through an initiative from Centraide du Grand Montréal and the Coalition montréalaise des Tables de quartier with support from more than a dozen partners from philanthropic, community, finance and municipal spheres.

The Chantier de l’économie sociale Trust, in partnership with the Réseau d’investissement social du Québec, administers funding.

Eligible Enterprises

Non-profit organizations, cooperatives or social trusts. Primarily targets community organizations in Greater Montreal.

Supports access to property to remediate problems of rent-related instability in community organizations.

 

Accelerate and systematize student housing initiatives

Founded in 2018 under an initiative from the Chantier de l’économie sociale Trust: the Fonds d’investissement pour logement étudiant (FILE).
